FC 27 Division Rivals and Champs rewards come down to one simple loop: play Rivals every week for coins, tradeable packs and Champions Qualification Points (CQP), cash in 1,000 CQP for a 15-match Champions Finals weekend, and use a good Finals run to qualify again. The big changes this year are that the Division 6 gate is gone, Squad Battles now pays CQP, and the coin numbers went up a lot. Division 1 upgraded rewards alone pay 95,000 coins. Rivals rewards drop every Thursday at 06:59 UTC, which is 07:59 in the UK until the clocks go back. This post gives you the reward time in your timezone, every division’s weekly rewards, how many Champs points each Rivals win pays, the full Finals table from 1 to 15 wins, what changed from FC 26, and how many games each step actually costs.

We play FUT Rivals and Champs on client accounts every week, so we care less about the hype than about how many games a reward really takes. Numbers below come from EA’s own notes where EA published them, and from community trackers where it didn’t. We say which is which every time. Everything here is checked against Title Update 1.0.4 and the end of FUT Season 1, with Season 2 starting on 22 October, last checked October 2026.

How Division Rivals works in FC 27

Division Rivals is a weekly ladder with two separate scores, and most confusion comes from mixing them up. There are 11 divisions: Division 10 at the bottom, Division 1, and Elite on top. Inside each division you climb Stages. A win moves you up a Stage, a draw keeps you where you are, and a loss can drop you one. Win two in a row and every extra win in that streak moves you two Stages instead of one, so a hot evening can carry you through a division in no time. Limited Checkpoints stop you falling below certain Stages, but they break after a set number of losses, so you can’t park on one forever.

The second score is weekly reward points: 3 for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss. They reset every Thursday at 06:59 UTC, the time EA’s Rivals help page gives for weekly rewards (full timezone table below). Base rewards unlock at 15 points and upgraded rewards at 30, so that’s 5 and 10 wins if you never draw. What you get is set by the division you’re in when the week closes, not the one you started in. That’s where the Wednesday-night promotion push comes from.

Bounties are back and, per EA, show up more often. They’re bonus objectives inside Rivals that pay extra reward points or speed you up the ladder, so check the Rivals tile before you queue. Every Rivals pack reward is tradeable at launch, which matters more than it sounds (the FC 26 comparison below shows why).

FC 27 Rivals rewards time in every timezone

Rivals rewards land on Thursday at 06:59 UTC. That moment stays fixed while your local clock moves: Europe goes back an hour on 25 October and the US on 1 November, so for one week in between, the UK to New York gap is four hours rather than five. That’s the week someone in your club swears the rewards came “early.” The UTC time is EA’s. The local times below are our conversions, last checked October 2026.

US Pacific players get the odd one out: the week flips over on Wednesday night, so “I’ll finish my wins Thursday morning” is a plan that ends with no upgraded rewards. EA doesn’t publish times for Champs, so those come from community calendars, which have been accurate all Season 1:

FC 27 Division Rivals rewards by division

The gap between divisions is now big enough to be worth chasing. EA said it wanted “a more noticeable difference in rewards between Divisions,” and the numbers show it. Division 4 upgraded pays 37,500 coins, Division 1 pays 95,000, and Elite pays 122,500. Only the Division 1 upgraded package is published directly in EA’s FC 27 Launch Update pitch notes. Everything else is our read of FUT Mind’s Division Rivals rewards tracker, cross-checked against Dexerto for Elite through Division 4 and last checked October 2026 with no changes since launch. Weekly CQP figures are FIFAUTeam’s Season 1 capture, which TimeSaver’s listing matches for every division except Division 5 (we use the lower figure).

Division 10 to 7: the packs-only floor

Down here you’re playing for packs and CQP, not coins. Division 10 upgraded is a 3x 81+ pack, and Division 7 upgraded is the first tier with any coins, at 2,500. The streak rule makes these divisions quick for anyone with a squad from week one. If you’re still in Division 8 after a full week, the squad is rarely the problem. It’s usually one habit, like holding sprint into every tackle, which FC 27 punishes harder than last year now that AI teammates no longer auto-tackle for you.

Division 6 to 4: where coins start to matter

Division 6 upgraded pays 12,500 coins, Division 5 pays 22,500, and Division 4 jumps to 37,500 plus an 84+ pack. This is also where the weekly CQP bonus starts adding up. Last year Division 6 was the line you had to cross to play Champions at all. That line is gone now, but Division 4 and above still fill your CQP bar much faster.

Division 3 to 1: the real money

The curve gets steep here. From Division 3 (52,500) to Division 1 (95,000) upgraded, your coins nearly double, and the TOTW Player Pack shows up from Division 3. Division 1 upgraded is probably the best reward-per-game in FUT this year: 10 wins for 95,000 coins, a pile of tradeable 83+ and 84+ packs, and 750 CQP towards your next Finals entry.

Elite: skill rating, not stages

Elite works differently. You don’t climb Stages, you play for Skill Rating against the best players online, and the top ones fight for a spot on the Rivals leaderboards. The payout is 122,500 coins upgraded and 1,000 CQP a week. That’s a full Champions entry just for finishing your 10 wins in Elite. Per EA, once you reach Elite you stay there until the end of the Season, so a bad week costs you Skill Rating, never the division.

How FUT Champions works in FC 27

Qualifying for Champs got a lot easier this year. The loop: you collect CQP, and once you hit 1,000 (the Season 1 number every community tracker lists; EA’s own wording is just “enough CQP”) you’re in the next Finals. No Play-Offs (those went away in FC 26), and you no longer need a minimum division. EA confirmed two changes in the Launch Update, and EA’s FC 27 Champions help page repeats both: the Division 6 requirement is gone, and Squad Battles now pays CQP too. So a player who only plays offline can now reach Finals, which would have sounded ridiculous a year ago.

The community reaction was mostly positive, if a bit cynical. In the r/EASportsFC thread on the Division 6 requirement going away, the top replies call it overdue (“UT needs more players, not just the good ones”). One player admits they were deliberately staying below Division 6 to skip Champions, which is the most FUT sentence ever written.

Finals are 15 matches over a Friday-to-Monday window (Friday 19:00 to Monday 08:00 UK time on community calendars). Every win moves you up one rank on a 15-rank ladder, grouped as Contender, Champions and Elite. Matchmaking runs on Form, which EA defines as your wins minus your losses in the current Finals, so a 6-2 start means a +4 Form and a sweatier Saturday. Your rewards are locked in when you finish your matches or when the window closes, whichever comes first. Rewards are now coins plus Champions Tokens, which you spend in the Champions Token Store on things like TOTW players with the exclusive red design, Evolutions and Celebrations. You can bank tokens and spend them later, which beats getting handed a random pick you’ll quick-sell.

How many Champs points per Rivals win in FC 27

A Division 1 win is worth 375 CQP, which puts you three wins away from a Finals entry. EA doesn’t publish per-match CQP anywhere, and its help page only says higher divisions earn it faster. The figures below are FIFAUTeam’s FC 27 Champions qualification table, the one community source that lists per-match values, last checked October 2026. Treat them as tracked, not official, and watch your CQP bar after a couple of games to confirm.

Division 675301214
Division 75020820
Division 84016625
Division 93012534
Division 102510440

Losses still pay a little, so a rough night in Division 2 isn’t a total waste. The drop from Division 4 (200 per win) to Division 5 (100) is the biggest cliff in the table. Climbing into Division 4 roughly halves the games you need to qualify, and that matters more than any single reward pack. Squad Battles also pays CQP, but neither EA nor the trackers list an amount yet.

FC 27 Champs rewards by rank

In FC 27, how many CQP your run pays back matters as much as the coins. From 11 wins up, Finals pays 600 CQP or more, and a 15-0 pays the full 1,000, so a strong weekend puts you most of the way back into next week’s Finals before you’ve played any Rivals. The table below is our read of FUT Mind’s Champions Finals rewards page (updated 19 October) for coins and CQP, and Season 1 community listings for tokens, last checked October 2026. EA’s help page confirms Finals pay coins, CQP and Champions Tokens but doesn’t publish the table, and pack contents per rank aren’t listed anywhere yet, so we’ve left them out rather than guess.

The curve bends at 11 wins. Going from 8 to 11 wins more than triples your coins (15,000 to 50,000), and every win past 11 adds tens of thousands more. That’s why the 11-win line is the one people fight for in the last games of a Sunday. The most common Finals we run for returning players go like this: 6-2 after Friday night, then the ninth, tenth and eleventh wins take longer than the first eight combined because the matchmaking gets properly sweaty around there.

If you’d rather keep the rewards and skip Sunday night’s 1-0 losses to a 4-4-1-1 that never leaves its own half, our FC 27 Rivals and Champs boost team plays your Rivals week or your Finals weekend on your schedule. Think of it as a shortcut through the grind, not a promise that EA’s matchmaking will be kind to you.

What changed from FC 26

FC 27 kept the FC 26 structure and changed who gets paid and how. Here’s the side-by-side. FC 27 values come from EA’s Launch Update notes where marked, the rest from the trackers above. FC 26 values are the launch-year figures as community guides recorded them.

Our read: FC 27 pays you for every match you play, not just for the weekly package. EA has moved part of the old weekly-reward value into post-match coins and Season Points, so the player who plays 40 Rivals games a week gets a lot more out of it than the player who stops at 10. The tradeable packs make those rewards worth a lot more too, because a 5x 84+ pack you can sell on the market is worth far more than an untradeable one when you’re trying to build around one expensive player.

How long each division takes

EA doesn’t publish how many Stages each division has in FC 27, and the trackers don’t either, so what follows is our estimate from the Rivals weeks we play, not an official number. Two rules drive everything: every win in a streak after the second counts double, and a loss usually takes back a Stage. That means your win rate matters far more than how many games you play. A 60% player moves up quickly, and a 50% player mostly goes sideways until a streak happens.

1,000 CQP in Division 7~33 games~40 games50 per win; Squad Battles helps

The CQP rows explain FC 27’s economy. In Division 1, three wins cover an entry before the weekly 750 even lands, and an 11-win Finals pays back 600 on top. Once you’re in Division 1 or Elite and winning 11 or more, you can go from Finals to Finals and treat Rivals as a coin farm. Below Division 4, per-win CQP is small enough that topping up with Squad Battles makes sense, which is exactly the gap EA’s change was meant to fill. And if Division 3 is where your week keeps dying, the squad shape is usually the cheapest fix: our FC 27 best formations and custom tactics guide covers the setups the players above you are running.

What changes when Season 2 starts

Season 2 starts on 22 October and runs to 3 December, per EA’s launch rewards notes. For Rivals that means a reshuffle. EA’s help page says that when a new Ultimate Team Season starts, everyone drops from the division they finished in and climbs back from there, and that Elite players keep their spot only until the Season ends. Expect the first Season 2 week to feel like a placement week: stacked squads in lower divisions than they belong, and slow progress for everyone until it sorts itself out.

Check two things on the first Thursday. The reward tables above are Season 1 values that haven’t moved since launch, and EA said early on it might raise the higher-division rewards, so open the Rivals tile before you plan your week around a number. The CQP needed for Finals is the other one. Season 1 was 1,000 on every tracker, but FIFAUTeam lists 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000 depending on the Season, and EA only ever says “enough CQP.” The bar on the Champions tile is the only number that counts. The first Season 2 Finals weekend runs Friday 23 October to Monday 26 October on the community calendars.

Where this system falls short

The system has real weak spots. First, the reward tables are front-loaded for players who were already good. Removing the Division 6 gate lets everyone into Champions, but the rewards still pile up at 11+ wins, and a Division 7 player who qualifies through Squad Battles will usually finish at 4-6 wins with 5,000 coins or less. Being allowed in doesn’t mean the weekend was worth it.

Second, a lot of FC 27’s extra value is per match, which rewards time, not just skill. If you can play 10 Rivals games a week, the headline numbers look a lot better on paper than they will feel in your club. Third, every figure below Division 1 in this post comes from community trackers, not EA, and EA has already said it may raise rewards for higher divisions after launch. The shape will hold. Individual numbers may move within weeks, so check the in-game rewards tile before you plan a week around them.

Frequently asked questions

How many points do you need for Rivals rewards in FC 27?

15 points for base rewards and 30 for upgraded rewards. A win is worth 3 points and a draw 1, so that’s 5 wins for base and 10 wins for upgraded if you don’t draw.

Do you still need Division 6 to qualify for FUT Champions?

No. EA removed the Division 6 requirement in FC 27, and its help page confirms it. You qualify by collecting enough Champions Qualification Points (1,000 in Season 1), and you can earn them in any Rivals division or in Squad Battles.

How do you get CQP in FC 27?

Play Division Rivals or Squad Battles. Every Rivals match pays CQP, from 25 per win in Division 10 to 500 in Elite on community tracking, and the weekly Rivals reward adds a bonus that reaches 1,000 in Elite. Finals also pay CQP back, so an 11-win weekend or better covers most of your next entry.

What do you get for 15 wins in FC 27 Champions?

Community trackers list Rank 1 in Season 1 at 250,000 coins, 450 Champions Tokens and 1,000 CQP, which is enough to qualify for the next Finals straight away. EA hasn’t published the full table, so check the in-game rewards screen.

When do Rivals rewards come out in FC 27?

Every Thursday at 06:59 UTC, per EA. That’s 07:59 UK and 02:59 US Eastern until the clocks go back, then 06:59 UK from 25 October and 01:59 Eastern from 1 November. On the US West Coast it lands on Wednesday night. Your rewards depend on the division you’re in when the window closes.

How many FUT Champs qualification points per win in Rivals in FC 27?

It depends on your division. Community tracking from FIFAUTeam lists 500 CQP per win in Elite, 375 in Division 1, 200 in Division 4 and 50 in Division 7, with smaller amounts for draws and losses. EA doesn’t publish per-match figures, so check your CQP bar after a few games.

Short version: Rivals is a weekly ladder with 11 divisions that pays coins, tradeable packs and CQP, and 30 points gets you the upgraded package. Champions now takes 1,000 CQP with no division gate, and the Finals rewards jump hard from 11 wins. Numbers below Division 1 are tracker figures and EA may change them, so check the in-game tiles as the season goes on. If you’d rather lock in the upgraded rewards and the 11-win Finals without spending every evening in Rivals, our FC 27 Division Rivals and FUT Champions boost covers weekly Rivals, Finals weekends and division climbs, played around your schedule.
