On the reworked tree you get 76 points at level 75, and the four builds below each spend exactly 76. For PvP, go heavy on Mobility (24 Conditioning / 41 Mobility / 11 Survival) and take both Sprinting on Fumes and In the Flow. For PvE loot runs, buy Security Breach with 31 / 26 / 19. Solo players who want lockers and an escape sprint should run 31 / 31 / 14.

Quick answer: the solo split above is the most balanced all-rounder. It gets Security Breach and Sprinting on Fumes, with Mule’s Gallop, Vault Spring and Quick Roll as the three middle choices. If you only fight, use the PvP build. If you only loot, use the PvE build. All four are reproducible community planner paths, not official Embark recommendations, and the click-by-click order for each is further down.

Table of Contents

Toggle

Best ARC Raiders skill tree builds for 76 points

Max skill points: 75 or 76?

Is Security Breach worth it?

How the Frozen Trail skill tree works

What changed after launch

Current skill tree by branch

Mobility: stamina, climbs, and movement

Conditioning: carrying, breaching, and team recovery

Survival: searching, crafting, and repairing

Full 76-point paths, click by click

1. The level cap is 75, you get one point for each level-up, and your Raider also starts with one point at creation, so a fresh account at the cap has 76. “75-point builds” are an off-by-one: plan for 75 and you’ll have a spare point at the end.

Expeditions add permanent bonus points on top of that, capped at 15 in total, so the real ceiling is 91. Most Raiders sit somewhere in between, because the reward rules changed nearly every cycle. Our ARC Raiders Expeditions guide has the cycle-by-cycle history. Embark has paused Expeditions until early 2027, so nobody can earn new bonus points right now. Even at 91 you can’t buy the whole tree. The three branches together hold well over 100 points of ranks.

Source of points

Points

Running total

Character creation

1

1

Level-ups to the level 75 cap

75

76

Expedition bonus (permanent, account-wide cap)

up to 15

up to 91

Is Security Breach worth it?

Yes for PvE and solo loot runs, no for a pure PvP build. Security Breach is the only way to open Security Lockers, and per the community wiki it also opens lockers another player has already breached. If your raids end with a full bag, that’s the best single point in the tree.

What it costs you is points. Frozen Trail moved it from Survival to the end of Conditioning, so it sits behind the 30-point gate in that branch. That 30 isn’t dead weight for a looter, because Broad Shoulders, Stubborn Mule, Speedy Mule and Mule’s Gallop all keep you sprinting with a heavy bag. For a PvP player, though, those same 30 points are the difference between one Mobility end pick and two. The PvE and solo builds above take it, and the PvP and stealth builds skip it on purpose.

How the Frozen Trail skill tree works

Embark’s Frozen Trail 2.0 notes describe a tree built around deliberate choices. The middle node in each branch asks you to pick one of two skills. At the end of a branch, you can select up to two of three skills after investing the required points. You can change a middle choice by resetting the tree, so read both options before you commit. Embark doesn’t publish the gate numbers. Community planners and the wiki put them at 10 points for the middle choice, then 30 and 40 for the two end picks, and that matches every build path we checked.

The current tree has 16 skills in each branch, 48 total. Each skill rank costs one point. A 76-point Raider can reach two final choices in one branch and one in another for 72 points, leaving four points to spend elsewhere.

What changed after launch

Frozen Trail changed connected paths and replaced familiar skills: Security Breach is in Conditioning, while Fight or Flight moved to Mobility. The new branch choices also make the order of your point spend matter.

Two patches have touched the tree since the October 8 launch. Neither changed a node name, a cost or the point total, but one of them matters for the PvP build.

Patch

Skill change

What it means for your build

Frozen Trail 2.0 (Oct 8)

Fight or Flight stamina gain up about 25% per level; Stubborn Mule regen up about 33%; Back on Your Feet heal raised from 30 to 40

Fight or Flight sits at 4 or 5 ranks in all four builds

Store Update 2.1.0 (Oct 13)

Stamina consumables blocked during the Sprinting on Fumes cooldown; Fight or Flight no longer bypasses that penalty

You can’t skip the post-sprint penalty with items or hits anymore. Compare what each one changes in your normal route, then check whether the result connects to an end pick you want.

Decide whether the end choice earns its point cost. The builds above show the budget tradeoff. Two final skills in one branch and one in another use 72 points including their choice points, leaving four for any branch; you cannot buy all three first end choices on a 76-point budget.

Spend points in stages. At low levels, take immediate value from the branch you use most. Do not buy filler only because a max-level plan eventually reaches an end choice. Revisit the plan near the 10-, 30-, and 40-point branch gates.

Check the current tooltip. Since Store Update 2.2.0 the tooltip on an unreached node shows how many levels the skill has, which makes planning ahead easier. Confirm how a skill behaves in your own raids before building around a small interaction.

A recent player discussion about resetting the skill tree illustrates why the best split depends on a Raider’s routine. Quick Roll serves a different movement need.

Downed-state ranks: Crawl Before You Walk and Downed But Determined matter more when a teammate can revive you. A solo player may prefer points that help before being downed.

Weapon Bash and Bull Rush: these are specialized combat picks. Do not buy them just because they are at the top of Conditioning; compare them with Security Breach or Back on Your Feet.

Sprinting on Fumes: it extends sprinting, followed by a recovery cooldown. Since Store Update 2.1.0, stamina consumables can’t be used during that cooldown and Fight or Flight no longer skips it, so factor the delay into your route if you rely on repeated sprints.

Frequently asked questions

How many skill points do you get in ARC Raiders?

76 at the level 75 cap: one at character creation plus one per level-up. It is the only way to open Security Lockers, and it costs 30 points in Conditioning plus the pick itself, much of which a loot build wants anyway. The choices also prevent you from taking both options at a middle node, and each end node offers three options with room to choose up to two after the required investment. Build around the skills you will use rather than trying to collect everything.

What is the first skill to take?

There is no universal first pick. Youthful Lungs is the Mobility starting node and increases maximum stamina. In-Round Crafting opens Survival. Used to the Weight starts Conditioning.
