12 Dec 2021

League of Legends Season 12 start what do we know so far?

On November of 16 of 2021 Riot Games announced the official League of Legends preseason for the 2022 competitive year. This announcement was the single most important appetizer for the rest of the season why? Because it teases what’s coming next year and leaves fans wondering whenLeague of Legends 12 begins. For now players will have to wait a little longer while Riot still makes sure all preparations to the release of League of Legends season 12 are ready. In the meantime preseason 2021 has brought a lot of interesting stuff to the game to the point where the community is blown away but let’s cut the crap and go straight to the point and talk about all the new innovations you can expect. The League of Legends Season 12 should start betweetn 15 January and 30 January 2022.

When will League of Legends Season 12 begin?

A lot of people have been asking when will League of Legends Season 12 begin and while we cannot give a final answer if we look at prior years League of Legends always started a new season as soon as the preseason ended usually in the first two weeks of January don’t take this for granted I’m just saying it’s usually like this! The preseason is usually made available on the PBE earlier and this is no different. Riot has announced that the PBE will hit the servers a bit earlier than usual to allow Riot to fix any potential flaws in their game before the grand release! League of Legends Season 12  start is still unknown; we can only speculate about when for now what we can say for sure is that Boosting Market will be offering League of Legends boosting services from day 1 so be sure to come around close to the date!

League of Legends preseason 2022 What’s new?

This League of Legends Preseason 2022 has brought many innovations including a massive update with the new drakes, cosmetics, equipment and several improvements.

League of Legends season 12 challenges and rewards

League of Legends decided they wanted to revamp their game so they have introduced a new progression system called Challenges. This system is different because it brings players a ton of new missions and rewards in Season 12. As a player completing tasks will earn you many achievements and have a consolidated place to showcase their progression through the game. Challenge system is not a direct in-game thing instead the system actus as a progress profile that will showcase a series of achievements and titles in League of Legends almost like leveling up to complete tasks while you play the game.

These are the types of challenges you can find. Considering they are more than 300 Challenges are all ready to arrive next season. They are split and divided into 6 different focused categories and the good news is that players can progress through each  separately except obviously for the Legacy one and that makes total sense according to our League of Legends boosting experts.

Imagination: Challenges that focus on unique objectives

Expertise: Challenges related to mastering a champion or role (e.g., recording a certain amount of S performances on a particular type of champion)

Teamwork & Strategy: Challenges that focus on working with the team (e.g., potentially, grouping up in teamfights, heals and assist numbers, or taking down objectives together)

Veterancy: Challenges for veterans of the game who have big lifetime numbers

Collection: Challenges related to collecting loot like champions, skins, and icons in-game

Legacy: Challenges that are only available for a limited time (e.g., event-exclusive Challenges)

On the official website you can see the full explanation for each too:

“Challenges have their own tab within your profile. You'll also be able to look up other players to check out their Challenges progress, too.

The big crystal on the left tracks your overall progression through the system. Every challenge you rank up increases your overall score, and over time, your crystal evolves from—you guessed it—Iron to Challenger.

The five bars beneath your crystal represent the five* categories of challenges. Categories are a middle ground between your overall progress and individual challenges, letting you track your growth along particular aspects of the game. And (surprise!) they rank up as well.”

Imagination: Modes and innovative plays make this category the home for those who dare to dream

Bad Medicine: Kill enemies recently healed by a heal pack in ARAM

Wave Goodbye: Kill 20 minions within 3 Seconds

Expertise: Skillfully crushing your opponents is the way to earn big in this category

Unkillable Demon King: Win games without dying

Flame Horizon: Win games with 100 or more CS than your opponent

Teamwork & Strategy: Working together with your team to dominate the Rift is the focus here

Soul Sweep: Claim Dragon Souls 4 - 0

Team Diff: Score aces between minion spawn and 15 minutes

Veterancy: Putting up big lifetime numbers in kills, gold earned, and other stats will help boost this bucket

PENTAKIIIIIIIIL!!: Get Pentakills

Multi-Weapon Master: Win with different Mythic Items

Collection: It's in the name. Collecting cosmetics and engaging in loot fills the bars here

Icon of the Rift: Obtain Summoner Icons

Spice of Life: Obtain Champions

*Legacy: Time-limited challenges live in this category to commemorate past achievements others can no longer obtain. They don't contribute to your overall progress, nor can you level up Legacy as a category.”

But what are the League of Legengs Season 12 rewards exactly? Well that's the problem there is no info about them yet, this should be released soon and we will update this Season 12 guide start as soon as it comes out!

League of Legends Season 12 hud changes

Several things hud related have changed in League of Legends starting with the scoreboard. Now it looks quite different and this is a welcome change to be honest. Here you can find all the changes:

Added lane position (in modes that have it)

Added K/DA

Added a column that toggles between damage dealt to champions, damage taken from champions, healing/shielding done, and CC score

The gold earned column toggles to minions killed

Added a column to show which challenge each player progressed the most

Honor also shows up here, since teammates may honor you after you've already moved over from the Progression tab

About the much awaited identity menu Riot had this to say: “All these new identity options demanded an improved customization experience. The Identity menu is found in the same places as before, but supports Icons, Borders, Titles, Challenge Tokens, and any other content types we’re able to create in the future. The left side now previews what your banner looks like as you switch things up. No need to hit save—each change updates in realtime, with an undo button to walk back changes you're not feeling (yes, you can make a bunch of changes and then undo all of them).”

Loading Screen Changes

The loading screen has also gotten a facelift! The Ranked Crest redesign from lobbies has carried over, and player cards also have a more contemporary look and feel. There's also a functional change: Player cards now have three sides. (Don't ask about the physics. They're Hextech.)

Game information: Champion/Skin, Ranked Border, First Strike Border, Summoner Name, Title & Icon, Summoner Spells, Runes, and Honor

Champion information: Champion Mastery and Eternals

(NEW) Player information: Rank, Challenge Crystal, Challenge Tokens

We also added a Quick Switcher™ that cycles all ten players' cards to the same tab to cut down on clicks.
