31 Dec 2021

Dota 2 boosting the players overall prize earning shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, the game boosts some of the biggest prize pools in gaming so this list will have a lot of esports players from Dota 2 T110’s crazy massive $40 million prize pool was too much for other games to compete with so nothing we can do it about it! Still we bring you the official top earning esports players/teams of 2021!

Team Spirit’s Dota 2 roster – $3.68 million per player

Imagine winning 3.68 million $ while being a russian team and living in russia! These kids are millionaires now. Team Spirit’s victory at TI10 was absolutely spectacular and they absolutely deserve the millions. The Russian roster was signed by Spirit less than a year prior and hadn’t accomplished much before their TI10 run. They n earn enough DPC points to be invited so they had to qualify through the Eastern European qualifier. At the event, they narrowly qualified for an upper bracket spot and were immediately sent down to the lower bracket by Invictus Gaming. But then, Spirit went on a miraculous run through the grand finals with a five-game win over PSG.LGD.

Here are the 5 lucky players:

Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk

Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek

Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov

Miroslaw “Mira” Kolpakov

Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov

PSG.LGD’s Dota 2 roster – $1.16 million per player

PSG.LGD’s flawless run at TI10 dream was ended by Team Spirit, in rome be a roman and PSG was not able to adapt to the new meta in time. Many Dota 2 boosting profissionals mention this was a mistake and although they are most of the times retired pro players they still got it here in our blog we think PSG took it too far and end up ruin what could have been a great run the result was heartbreaking. The can be considered one of the best Dota 2 squads of the year with wins at the WePlay AniMajor and the OGA Dota Pit Invitational. The second-place finish still gives this chinese players like Ame, Faith_bian, and y’ are placed amongst the top earning players ever with over $3 million lifetime earnings category. Ame is the highest lifetime earning Dota 2 player without a TI win (two second-place finishes, one third, and one fourth).

Here is the chinese roster and their milions

Wang “Ame” Chunyu

Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang

Zhang “Faith_bian” Ruida

Zhao “XinQ” Zixing

Zhang “y`” Yiping

Team Secret’s Dota 2 roster – $742,000 per player

Team Secret is just amazing they signed a veteran roster of familiar Dota 2 pro players that have been boosting since the dawn of times so naturaly they went to TI10 with big hopes of coming with a banger win something that did not happen and made team based in Europe quite sad unfortunately that's the nature of gaming and esports still MATUMBAMAN moves into the No. 9 position in all-time earnings for Dota 2 with $4.5 million total ($2.1 million coming from Secret’s TI7 win alongside Puppey). Zai became the second-highest earning Dota 2 player without a TI win behind the previously mentioned Ame.

Here is the roster of heroes that had a great run

Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen

Michał “Nisha” Jankowski

Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg

Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat

Clement “Puppey” Ivanov
