Here is the Victorious skin 2026 checklist in one line: win 15 ranked games during the season and be Honor level 3 or higher when it closes. The wins count across Solo/Duo, Flex, or any mix of the two, and your rank is irrelevant to the base skin. Iron IV qualifies exactly as well as Challenger. What rank changes is how many chromas land in your loot alongside it.

The part nobody can answer yet is which champion the Season 3 skin actually is. As of late August 2026 Riot has not announced it, and anyone telling you otherwise is repeating a guess. What follows is the confirmed requirement, the reveal timing, every Victorious skin by season, the rest of the season-end reward set, and the fix for the half of the requirement people actually fail, which is Honor 3 rather than the wins. If you want the whole reward track rather than just the skin, the full ranked rewards breakdown is the companion piece.

How to get the Victorious skin in 2026

The requirement list is short, and it is shorter than most players assume. Two things gate the base skin:

  • 15 ranked wins during Season 3, counted across Solo/Duo and Flex together.
  • Honor level 3 or higher on your account when the season closes.

That is the whole list. Note what is not on it. No rank floor, no minimum games played, no win-rate requirement. A 40% win rate account that grinds enough games to bank 15 wins gets the same base skin as someone who three-peats through Diamond. Riot spells the mission out in Riot’s patch 26.15 notes, which describe the “Victorious Ranked Mission (15 Ranked Games won)” refreshing at season start. Season 3 went live at 12pm local server time on July 29 2026, and it runs into early 2027 with the exact cutoff still unannounced.

Rank does come back into it for the extras. The chromas are tier-gated and they stack downward, so a player who finishes Platinum receives the Platinum chroma plus the Gold, Silver and Bronze ones underneath it. Finish Iron and you get the skin with no chroma at all, which is still a skin you can never buy.

SQUPO walks through every Victorious skin in the line.

The Season 3 Victorious champion has not been revealed

Riot has said nothing about which champion gets it, and that is still true as of late August 2026. The last two seasons both got their reveal a few weeks out from the close rather than at the start. Season 1 2026 gave us Victorious Braum, and Victorious Rengar landed on July 15 2026 in patch 26.14, roughly two weeks before Season 2 closed at 23:59 on July 28. Season 3 runs into early 2027, so on that cadence the reveal sits somewhere in the back half of the season.

The community is refreshing the same question. The r/leagueoflegends thread asking exactly this has the same answer in the top comments that we are giving you: Braum was announced, the current one has not been, wait for the reveal.

None of it changes your planning. The mission does not care which champion the skin lands on, and the wins bank the same either way. Play your 15, protect your Honor level, and find out what you earned later. It is the only reward in the game where you can finish the requirement before you know what you are buying with it, which is either charming or mildly infuriating depending on how much you like surprises.

Every Victorious skin by season

Victorious skins are the longest-running reward line in League, and the champion changes every season. Since 2023 Riot has run multiple seasons per year, so the list accumulates three champions annually instead of one. The recent run, newest first:

Season Year Champion
Season 3 2026 Not announced yet
Season 2 2026 Victorious Rengar
Season 1 2026 Victorious Braum
Season 3 2025 Victorious Draven
Season 2 2025 Victorious Fiora
Season 1 2025 Victorious Twisted Fate
Split 3 2024 Victorious Master Yi
Split 2 2024 Victorious Sona
Split 1 2024 Victorious Kog’Maw
Split 2 2023 Victorious Tryndamere
Split 1 2023 Victorious Anivia

Riot’s own announcements confirm the 2025 and 2026 rows. The 2023 and 2024 split assignments follow the ordering on the LoL Wiki’s Victorious page, since Riot no longer surfaces those announcement posts, so treat those five rows as the wiki’s record rather than a Riot source. Before 2023 it was one skin a year, going back to Victorious Jarvan IV in 2011.

Every one of these is gone for good once its season closes. Riot does not re-release them and does not put them in the shop later, which is why an old Victorious skin on a loading screen is a straight timestamp of when that account was grinding. It is the same logic that puts the old event and staff skins on our list of the rarest skins in League, except you could not have bought this one even at the time.

What else season end pays out

The skin is the headline, but the season-end drop is a set. Alongside the Victorious skin and its chromas, qualifying accounts receive a tier profile icon and emote, a Ranked Regalia crest, and a rank loading-screen border. The table below is our read of how the set has been gated across the last several seasons, last checked August 2026. Riot adjusts the tier cutoffs season to season, so confirm against the rewards screen in your client before counting on any one row.

Tier reached Victorious skin Chromas Profile icon and emote Crest and loading-screen border
Iron Yes None Iron tier set Iron
Bronze Yes Bronze Bronze tier set Bronze
Silver Yes Bronze, Silver Silver tier set Silver
Gold Yes Bronze through Gold Gold tier set Gold
Platinum Yes Bronze through Platinum Platinum tier set Platinum
Emerald Yes Bronze through Emerald Emerald tier set Emerald
Diamond Yes Bronze through Diamond Diamond tier set Diamond
Master and above Yes Full set Top-tier set Master, Grandmaster or Challenger

The border tracks the highest tier you actually touched during the season, not where you finished, so a Diamond peak that decays back to Emerald still carries the Diamond border. The chromas work the same way. That is the best argument for pushing one more division before the season closes even if you have already banked the wins.

If the season is closing faster than your schedule allows and you want the higher-tier chromas and border rather than just the base skin, our League of Legends rank boost team runs division climbs and win counts inside the season window on your own schedule, with self-play and duo options if you would rather be in the games. It lands the tier before the cutoff. The reward set is the same one you would have earned yourself.

Stuck at Honor 2? How to get to Honor 3

This is the half of the requirement that actually costs people the skin, and it deserves more attention than the wins. Honor accrues slowly and only from playing games, so an account sitting at Honor 2 with three weeks left in the season is in a genuinely tighter spot than an account sitting on 4 wins.

Every account starts at Honor 2, and levels 3 through 5 are earned by filling internal checkpoints. You fill them when teammates honor you after a game. Riot caps how much a single game and a single premade can contribute, so honor-farming with a five-stack does not work, and only teammates can honor you. The realistic pace from 2 to 3 is a few dozen games of clean play, not a weekend.

Four things move it:

  • Play the games. Honor only accrues from completed matches, and an account that logs in twice a week will not clear a checkpoint before the cutoff no matter how pleasant it is.
  • Be honorable rather than just quiet. Shot-calling, pinging objectives and typing one “gj” after a good play measurably raises how often people pick you at the honor screen. Silent players get honored less than helpful ones.
  • Honor your own teammates. It costs nothing and it makes the post-game screen a habit for the whole lobby.
  • Do not let a rough game turn into a typed argument. Honor progress locks the moment the behavior system steps in, and it only unfreezes across clean games afterwards. Muting early is the cheapest insurance in the game.

We watch this play out every season. The most frustrating version last season was an account with its 15 wins banked by mid-August that then coasted, sitting at Honor 2 all the way to the cutoff because the player stopped queueing once the mission bar filled. The wins were the easy half. If you want the mechanics in detail, our breakdown of how honor levels and checkpoints actually work covers the checkpoint structure and the restoration path.

15 wins is a smaller ask than it sounds

Players read “15 ranked wins” and picture a climb. It is a volume requirement, and at any win rate a functioning human puts up, it lands in the range of a couple of weeks of casual play. Here is the arithmetic.

Win rate Games needed for 15 wins Rough hours at 30 minutes a game
60% 25 ~12.5
55% 28 ~14
50% 30 ~15
45% 34 ~17
40% 38 ~19
35% 43 ~21.5

The spread between a good season and a rough one is about nine hours of League. Even the 35% row is under a month of two games a night, and flex counts, so a duo evening where you are not sweating solo queue LP still fills the bar.

The part that catches people out

Now the weakness in all of the above, because a rewards guide that only lists upside is not much use. Three things trip accounts up every single season.

First, progress reset to zero on July 29. Riot’s own patch notes say the mission “will be refreshed with season start”, so Season 2 wins bought you a Season 2 skin and nothing else. Players who half-remember finishing a mission recently are the ones who check the client in December and find the bar at 6 of 15.

Second, the cutoff is hard. No grace period, no retroactive grant. When the season closes the qualification snapshot is taken and that is the state that ships. Rewards land in loot a little while after the close rather than instantly, so a slow drop is not a missed one.

Third, the Honor check happens at the close, not when you finish the wins. Filling the mission in September locks in nothing. Your Honor level on the closing date is the one that counts.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get the Victorious skin in 2026?

Win 15 ranked games during the season and hold Honor level 3 or higher when it closes. Wins count across Solo/Duo and Flex combined, and there is no rank requirement for the base skin. Chromas and the border tier scale with the highest rank you touched during the season.

Which champion is the Season 3 Victorious skin?

Riot has not announced it. Season 1 2026 was Victorious Braum and Season 2 was Victorious Rengar, but the Season 3 champion was still unrevealed as of late August 2026. Riot typically reveals it a few weeks before a season closes, so anything circulating before that is speculation.

Do flex queue wins count toward the Victorious skin?

Yes. The mission counts Solo/Duo and Flex together, so you can complete it entirely in flex, entirely in solo queue, or split it however suits your schedule. The reward is identical either way.

What rank do you need for the Victorious skin?

None. Iron qualifies exactly the same as Challenger for the base skin. Rank decides the chromas, the tier profile icon and emote, the Ranked Regalia crest, and which loading-screen border you get on top.

Did my Victorious progress carry over from Season 2?

No. The mission refreshed to zero when Season 3 started on July 29 2026, so every account began the season needing 15 fresh wins no matter what it banked in Season 2. Season 2 rewards were distributed separately shortly after Season 3 opened.

Can you still get an old Victorious skin?

No. Victorious skins are never sold, re-released, or added to the shop after their season ends. That is exactly why they hold their status: the only way to have Victorious Anivia is to have been playing ranked when Anivia was the reward.

So the short version: 15 wins, Honor 3, any queue, any rank, and roughly 25 to 40 games depending on how the coinflips land. The champion is still a mystery and will stay one until Riot decides otherwise, which changes nothing about what you should be doing right now. Bank the wins early, keep the account honorable through the close, and push one more division if you want the better chromas.

If the season is running out faster than your free evenings are, our League of Legends team can run the wins for you inside the season window, on your account, on your schedule, with the target tier locked in before the cutoff.
