In League of Legends, Boosting is the process by which a player can increase their Rank (or ELO) thanks to the help of professional players called Boosters. These Boosters can play with the player’s account or team up with them via the DuoQ option.

The amount of LPs you earn after a ranked game determines the number of games required to advance to the next division. An account that earns over 35LP will require fewer ranked matches than an account that earns 14LP, consequently fewer will need to be played to finish it, thus having a lower price tag.
